Philosophy
Jöro - Meaning Earth

Our Restaurant;
Is made entirely from upcycled shipping containers on the ground floor of Krynkl in Kelham Island, Sheffield. A steel building in the heart of the once fully industrial quarter of the steel city!

We have designed an open plan dining room to create an immersed and intimate dining experience, offering small plates and tasting menus. We have 12 tables plus our kitchen bench which accommodates a maximum of 2 guests.

Please choose our kitchen bench table at the time of booking if you wish to sit here. Please also note our kitchen bench features high seating.

Our Menus;

Our Jöro philosophy is that we want to offer a relaxed and accessible dining experience that we ourselves and enjoy when eating out.

Offering a style of food, drinks and service unique to our personalities.

Our food is created passionately by the team, excitingly with the discovery of new produce and developing our favourite flavours and dishes in our own style.

We love to visit restaurants where we can enjoy tasting a variety of flavours and share our food, ordering as much (or as little) as we can eat!

Jöro’s small plates menu is a reflection of this and our tasting menus, Luke’s chance to show you his favourite menu using the current seasons offerings.

The wine and drinks menu is built around our love of flavours too. Featuring wines from around the world, organic, biodynamic and some skin contact. Sake because we love the variety much like our love of wine and we feel it pairs well with a lot of the ingredients in our food too.

Beers, cider, spirits and our own foraged selection of juices and cordials.

We’ve got some exciting new spirits too, emerging from producers such as the Empirical Spirits range, ‘a flavour company’. Visit here

We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant experience,

Luke & Stacey Sherwood - French
